Habakkuk means "one who embraces" or "one who folds his hands."
Unfortunately, these qualities were getting harder to find among God’s people in the 7th century B.C. Rather than conform to what he saw, Habakkuk administered a little “tough love” that any southern momma could recognize! His message? Despite living in a culture that rejects God and His principles, our Sovereign Savior calls us (His children) to walk by faith and not by sight, according to His principles. At face value, this seems like an easy enough concept. However, in today’s culture, many Christians struggle to stay connected to God and experience true hope, rest, and peace. This is a 7-week study led by Amber Gaige.

This ministry exists to support and encourage parents of kids (of any age) who identify as LGBTQ. Our primary mission is to equip and encourage you to love your kids like Jesus does—with compassion for their wounded hearts yet without compromising the truth of the Word or character of God. We also strive to give you a safe, confidential place to explore your grief and concerns, along with the common causes of same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria. We will also discuss strategies for building (or regaining) trust with your child and repairing your relationship with him or her.
At Uncommon Love, you will have the opportunity to become part of a community that will support you in this journey.
To register your interest for an upcoming class, please email class leader Mary Comm at uncommonloveonline@gmail.com.
