Join Dr. Becki on a 6-week journey to grow your faith and relationships!

Start off with dinner in the Atrium, then come to Midweek Worship as your children attend Lil' Praise or Detonate with Creek Kids and teens attend Connect Nights with the Student Ministry. We also have opportunities for you to attend Care Groups addressing a variety of needs.

Throughout God’s Word, we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray.
In this 7-session study, join with six beloved Bible teachers who will help you study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Creek 55+ Special Events is excited to announce that we will be a host site for the Legacy Grandparenting Summit as our upcoming fall event.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Light the Way.” The Legacy Grandparenting Summit is a “paradigm-shifting event that teaches Christian grandparents to embrace the fullness of their biblical role and light the way to the one true God and His Son, Jesus Christ.”
This event is a wonderful opportunity for not only in-reach within the Cottonwood Creek community but also a chance for outreach in the surrounding communities. We would love to see our sanctuary full of grandparents from all over North Texas and the DFW area desiring to light the way for future generations.
Please mark your calendars about this upcoming event. A box lunch will be available from Chick-Fil-A for an additional cost of $10.
Creek 55+ Special Events will need each of you to make this event a success. Ask God what your role in this will be. First and foremost, we need prayer! Pray for the planning team, the speakers and music and pray for the grandparents who will be attending this summit. Pray for them to be a light in their grandkids and great grandkids’ lives. Secondly we will need volunteers to greet, direct traffic, work the prayer room, help with check-in and distribute the box lunches.
