What is The Gift Weekend? It’s a meaningful time for individuals, families and LifeGroups to serve together through multiple service opportunities on campus! We have many options to choose from, including meal packing and meal box sponsorship, a winter coat drive, hair donations and Christmas card making for our missionaries, to name a few. So don’t miss out on this excellent service opportunity – register today!

Christmas Angel (formerly Angel Tree) is also highlighted during The Gift and is a wonderful opportunity for families and LifeGroups to adopt a family in need for Christmas. There are 125 children waiting to be adopted from our community.

 
 

 

Seminar on the Sabbath: Christ Will Give You Rest

Saturday, Nov. 12 | 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Free | Register

Are Christians supposed to observe the Sabbath? If you've ever asked this question, you won’t want to miss this free Ministry Academy event, Seminar on the Sabbath: Christ Will Give You Rest. Dr. Beau Landers will lead each of the sessions exploring how the entire Bible shows us that we find our rest in Jesus. 

Register in advance to receive snacks and a free lunch.

Marriage Skills Class

Wednesdays | Begins Nov. 9 | 6:30 - 8 p.m. | A238 | Free | Register

This 10-week class will focus on building various marriage skills, including conflict resolution and communication.

Couples also have the opportunity to participate in an optional marriage assessment for $35. This assessment tool comes from Prepare/Enrich and will be emailed following registration.

When registering, please include both spouses’ email addresses.

    Lil’ Praise

    Lil’ Praise is a fun night of worship and Bible activities. Kids will enjoy praising God together, while singing familiar favorites and learning new worship songs. We will also dive into the truth of God’s Word in fun and interactive lessons.

    One Way Class is for kids kinder – 5th grade, who have received Jesus Christ as their Savior or have questions about what this means. This class is for parents and children to attend together and is a prerequisite to child baptism. Come learn more about what it means to accept Jesus and what it means to be baptized!

    Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they are and walks alongside them in their faith journey through exciting Scripture memorization and Bible study, fun games and engaging large group sessions. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God's purpose for their lives and hope for the future.

    The Landing is a safe place for teenagers (6th - 12th grade) to find hope and freedom from their pain and addictions. Pain is real and life often doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t seem fair!

    This group meets every Monday night from 7 – 9 p.m. in A212, on the second floor of the Education building.

    Every Wednesday at Cottonwood Creek, we have something for everyone! Start off with dinner in the Atrium, then come to Midweek Worship as your children attend Lil' Praise or Detonate with Creek Kids and teens attend Connect Nights with the Student Ministry. We also have opportunities for you to attend Care Groups addressing a variety of needs.

    Throughout the year, there will be additional classes and special events, so make sure to text MIDWEEK to 77978 to stay updated.

    Dinner is served between 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. each week. All other events occur at 6:30 p.m. or later.

    Midweek activities will not meet Wednesday, Nov. 23.

    What is baptism? Baptism is for those who repent and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and it symbolizes the believer’s union with Christ and union with other believers. While baptism does not bring salvation, it is an act of obedience in responding to the example of Jesus.

    Table Talk with Creek Women is to foster relationships with other like-minded women while growing in our Christian faith.     The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items and delivers them to children in need worldwide to demonstrate God’s love tangibly. We will also discuss strategies for building (or regaining) trust with your child and repairing your relationship with him or her.
