Women’s Summer Study: Rhythms of Renewal

Daily struggles with anxiety and stress make it difficult to receive God’s peace. Through this study, Rhythms of Renewal by Rebekah Lyons, you will learn how to trade your anxiety for the vibrant life you were meant to live through four profound rhythms: rest, restore, connect and create.

  • Take charge of your emotional health and inspire your loved ones to do the same.

  • Overcome anxiety by establishing daily habits that keep you mentally and physically strong.

Chiapas Mission Trip

Sept. 29 - Oct. 4 | Learn More | Register

In partnership with Ministry Builders and Pogue Family Missions, Cottonwood Creek will be traveling to Chiapas, Mexico to help build the kingdom of God through building a church building. Through Ministry Builders, literally hundreds of church buildings have been built and pastors have been trained to go into their villages and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those that are lost and in need of a Savior. Thousands of people are hearing the gospel preached in their communities because of the strong partnership that Ministry Builders has with Cottonwood Creek Church and other churches across the United States.

Cost:

  • $800 (Includes: airfare, ground transportation, room and board)

    Lil’ Praise

    3 years - Kindergarten (Fully Potty Trained)

    Lil’ Praise is a fun night of worship and Bible activities. Kids will enjoy praising God together, while singing familiar favorites and learning new worship songs. We will also dive into the truth of God’s Word in fun and interactive lessons.

    One Way Class is for kids kinder – 5th grade, who have received Jesus Christ as their Savior or have questions about what this means. This class is for parents and children to attend together and is a prerequisite to child baptism. Come learn more about what it means to accept Jesus and what it means to be baptized!

We want to point them to the ONE way, the ONE truth, and the BEST life, found only in Jesus Christ. On Wednesday Nights, your students will have the opportunity to have FUN, make connections with other students and WORSHIP.

    The Landing is a safe place for teenagers (6th - 12th grade) to find hope and freedom from their pain and addictions. Pain is real and life often doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t seem fair!

    This group meets every Monday night from 7 – 9 p.m. in A212, on the second floor of the Education building.

    We have something for everyone! Start off with dinner in the Atrium, then come to Midweek Worship as your children attend Lil' Praise or Detonate with Creek Kids and teens attend Connect Nights with the Student Ministry. We also have opportunities for you to attend Care Groups addressing a variety of needs.

    Throughout the year, there will be additional classes and special events, so make sure to text MIDWEEK to 77978 to stay updated.

    Dinner is served between 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. each week. All other events occur at 6:30 p.m. or later.

    Table Talk with Creek Women is to foster relationships with other like-minded women while growing in our Christian faith.     This group provides information, resources and strategies for those caring for adults with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia. Some of the upcoming topics covered by the facilitator from the Wellness Center for Older Adults include understanding memory loss, coping with long-term illness, missed communication and behavioral challenges.

    Taking on a role as a caregiver is a huge responsibility and comes with both rewards and challenges.  Without proper support, caregiving can become exhausting and can make one feel isolated and alone.

    We are excited to announce an evening Caregiver Support Circle beginning in June.  The group will have three rotating facilitators and will meet on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Room B122/B124.  We will provide a safe space to share concerns, experiences, and support.

    This group is geared toward moms with older children who have been with them for a while.
