    Embark on this 7 week journey as we explore how our temperaments impact our relationships with our kids and parental strategies, what healthy authority really is, and gaining an understanding of compassionate discipline. This is a holistic parental approach built on a Biblical foundation.

    The class will be offered January 19 - March 2 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Cost is $20 for the workbook that is covered in the course.

    The One Way class is for kids K – 5th grade, who have received Jesus Christ as Savior or have questions about what this means. This class is for parents and children to attend together and is a prerequisite to child baptism. Come learn more about what it means to accept Jesus, and what it means to be baptized!

    Creek Kids Praise is a fun night of worship and Bible activities for kids 3 years (potty trained) through 5th grade. Kids will enjoy praising God together, while singing familiar favorites and learning new worship songs. We also dive into the truth of God’s Word in fun and interactive lessons.

    There are two sections of Creek Kids Praise:

    Up-Praise: 1st - 5th grade meets in B109/111.

    Lil’ Praise: 3 years - kindergarten meets in A143.

Awana reaches kids where they are and walks alongside them in their faith journey through exciting Scripture memorization and Bible study, fun games and engaging large group sessions. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God's purpose for their lives and hope for the future.

    *As of January 1, the prorated Awana registration fee will be $20 per child plus the cost of materials (previously it was $35).

    We thought about doing a shadow puppet contest…

    We thought about making everyone dress up like a groundhog…

    But instead, we decided to just have a Game Show Night at the church. Bring your friends and come ready to have fun and win prizes!

    Our church has partnered with Brick Street Flowers to provide flower arrangements for the widows in our church. We are going to have people/groups sign up to deliver the flowers to the widows in our church and spread the love this Valentine’s Day. Sign-ups coming soon.

    Led by Keith & Cherry Sanders, the Spring 2022 Before We Say I Do premarital counseling class will be held beginning  Sunday, February 27 until Sunday, April 3. You will receive the Zoom link after registering. We also offer individual counseling separate from the class if you prefer couples counseling.  The cost is $25.00 per session with a minimum of four sessions.  The maximum number of sessions is eight.

    If you chose to do the couple’s counseling, you will receive a Twogether In Texas discount for your marriage license.  The discount is $60.00.

    Table Talk with Creek Women is to foster relationships with other like-minded women while growing in our Christian faith. We desire to better understand the word of God and how to apply it to our lives through guest speakers and small group table discussions.     Whole-Hearted Yoga teaches the physical and mental benefits of yoga utilizing scripture and devotionals. Moving, breathing and meditating on God’s Word and resting in His presence are vital parts of practicing faith-based yoga. This class is led by Lori Washko, a registered yoga instructor (RYT-200) with the Yoga Alliance and the Christian Yoga Association.

    We are excited to announce that we will begin our second house build project in partnership with Buckner International, to provide a home for a family in need in South Texas. The build will take place right here on our church campus parking lot on Fridays and Saturdays, January 7 through March 5. 

    You do not need construction experience to participate and we also have positions open on the Prayer Team and Hospitality/Snack Team! Students 12+ can sign up with a participating parent.

    Mended is a Care Group for adoptive moms with mostly teenagers. This is a safe place for those moms to come together in fellowship and build each other up. There are no judgments here, this is a space to talk about the highs and lows of working with their kids.

    This group is geared toward moms with older children who have been with them for a while.
