Missions Spotlight: Cancer Care

Throughout February you can support our Cancer Care Ministry by creating and praying over blankets that will be given out to friends, neighbors, North Texas Hospitals and Cancer Centers.

We invite you to download or pick-up our Blanket Instructions, specifically for cancer patients, at the Mission Wall. This is an inspiring project to do with your family and/or Life Group! Please return the blanket by the end of the month.

Celebrating The Cancer Care Ministry

This month, we recognize and celebrate the amazing work done by the Cottonwood Creek Cancer Care Ministry. From handwritten cards to weekly prayers, the Cancer Care Ministry provides care and support for those fighting against and recovering from a cancer diagnosis.

Currently, the Cancer Care Team is asking our congregation to come together to make no-sew blankets that will provide warmth and comfort for the patients who receive them. This ongoing project, which amplifies during February, is a testament to the extremely attentive, empathetic nature of the Cancer Care Ministry.

The Story of Reality by Greg Koukl

Thursdays | 7:00p | Beginning February 11 | Zoom & In-Person (A200/201)

Biblical Christianity is more than just another private religious view or a source of moral teaching. Christianity is a picture of reality. It explains why the world is the way it is. When the pieces of this puzzle are properly assembled, we see the big picture clearly.

This is a 6-week long study for any adult interested in learning how to pass on the basics of their faith and is particularly designed to teach and encourage parents to pass their faith on to their children.

LifeGroups: Online, At Home & On Campus

In a large population, creating a sense of community and connecting with others is important. In the church, it’s crucial. LifeGroups are small groups within the larger church in which people of similar interests take care of the “one another” in life. In a large church, it’s important that community exists in order for relationships to be real and relevant.
